The actual connection between the supposed Trinity Strand Trail and the Katy Trail has been a baffling one — how exactly is the trail going to wind from Uptown through the Design District, crossing over I-35, Dallas North Tollway and Harry Hines Blvd., while staying safe and pedestrian friendly?

Well, the folks over at SRA Design put together this handy video to help explain all the twists and turns, and it looks like the connection is going to be pretty cool (and definitely shielded from all the surrounding traffic). You can also help the Trail meet its $18 million Katy Trail Connection costs by becoming a Friend of the Trinity Strand Trail.
