Off-Site Kitchen opens for lunch

The long-awaited hotspot from Neighborhood Services owner Nick Badovinus has finally opened for lunch. His new Off-Site Kitchen has been functioning as a commissary for his other restaurants for months, but has now opened for business at 2226 Irving Blvd.

The menu features “light industrial fare” like burgers, slow-cooked brisket and corned beef sandwiches,

The "Murph Style Burger" with jalapeno/bacon relish, American cheese and secret sauce

chicken fingers, crispy tacos, and spit-roasted ham, bratwurst and bologna. You can also enjoy pork rinds, Twinkies, Little Debbie cakes and homemade mini pies with your meal, all washed down with a Throwback Mountain Dew or can of Lonestar beer.

Guests can dine at the bar stools facing the kitchen or on   the patio outside, which is full of plants, picnic tables and umbrellas. The restaurant will open for breakfast on March 5, and will open in the evening (until 7 p.m.) shortly after.

As the tiny kitchen was already comfortably packed with customers on its second day, Off Site Kitchen is sure to be a  staple for Design Districters, or a destination for meat-lovers in search of the perfect burger or brisket sandwich.
