Herschel Yelder and Tyra Goodley showcase their art at Trinity Loft

Feb 10, 2012 No Comments by

Artists Herschel Yedler and Tyra Goodley will be showing their work in the atrium of the Trinity Loft starting this Saturday at 3 p.m. According to their artist statements, here is what their art is all about:

Through the radiant use of color and imagination in his pieces, Herschel celebrates the beauty of life and aims to inspire thoughts about the infinite possibilities of tomorrow.

“My objective is to make people feel happy, rejuvenated and inspired by my work.  I want to help them expand their mind and explore ideas that they have never considered.” – Herschel

For innovative artist and painter Tyra Goodley, art and life have always been intertwined. Created with recycled sheet metal, her works are free-flowing and  multidimensional; some literally pop out of the frame.

“Everything that I interact with is an opportunity to be creative and inspire others.  That’s the beauty of art — it is limitless…it’s always there.” – Tyra

Stop by tomorrow to check out their work! Also, if you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day this weekend, it’s the perfect pre-dinner date, especially with all of Tyra’s red and metal heart images surrounding you.

You can access the Trinity Loft atrium through the entrance at 1403 Slocum St., then heading up the stairs or elevator to the 2nd floor.
